    • Red and Blue Water Lily India, Sri Lanka Characteristics: Tuber with arrow-shaped leaves of brown-red to dark-red colour. Height: Submerse leaves 40 - 50 cm. Growth rate: Weekly 1 leaf. Propagation: Several daughter plants grow from the tuber. Requirements: Soft, nutrient-rich water. Special note: Remove any floating leaves before they reach the surface. Nymphaea stellata will then grow submerse leaves again.
