Brackish Water Plant Packages |
The following packages are for brackish aquariums with a slight salt specific gravity (spg) of only 1.005-1.012. Note: True salt water spg =1.025. All of these plants also do fine in none brackish tanks.
Water Temp: Versatile but usually lower, with no added heat.
Lighting: 0.5 watts per gallon and more needed up to 12 hours per day.
Substrate: Sand or Gravel
pH: Versatile
Total Hardness: 4° to 5° DH
Fish Types: Archerfish, Indian Glassfish, Perches, Shark Cats, Toadfish, Needlenose Gars, Cichlids: i.e. Chromides, Spadefish, Mollies, Guppies, Gobies, Killifish, Rainbowfish, Loaches, Monos, Leaffish, Puffers, Scats, Pipefish, and Targetfish.
