• Shipping and handling is an estimate, We are currently updating our database so some items shipping cost may be wrong. We will contact you if it is different and will not charge you until authorized. Overseas shipping and heavy items such as tanks, substrates, and rock always varies on location and weight please contact us prior to paying. Some items are not available for overseas shipping depending on weight, shipping method, restrictions which is determined by aquatic-store.com. Free ground shipping is @ the discretion of us and applies only to continental U.S when we offer it.
• Many of the common plant items may not be in stock and may have a 2 week waiting period before sent out. This means less overhead and more savings for you.
• Some products are such as aquariums, co2 tanks and other heavy items are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer and may be delayed or shipped at a different time than other aquatic items. Once any item is paid for it cannot be stopped.
• If paying by M.O. please place some barrier between the envelope and money order with a printout of your order.
• All freshwater plants are shipped in living condition and are only guaranteed excellent condition if shipped next day air/express or better pack depending on local climate with cold or heat but we rarely have had a problem with priority mail.
• Plant Combos/packages are not per plant but per size of plant. I.E. a xxl plant could be 3-5 plants depending on the size.
• Insurance is optional and must be specifically requested and paid for by the buyer.
• Insurance claims must be taken up with the issuing authority. (USPS or UPS etc)
• A 20%-45% non- refundable fee on any orders already shipped. No refund can be given on special ordered products.
• Returns are @ the option of aquatic-store.com and are subject to the 20%-45% depending on manufacturer restocking fee. Customer must pay for insurance and delivery confirmation back to us. Some items cannot be returned as these are directly shipped from one of our partners.
• $45 fee on all returned checks which may be sent to a collection agency.
• Every account insured against unauthorized transactions up to $100,000 if using paypal through paypal services. We do not charge your credit card but paypal a 3rd party owned by ebay does all of the creditcard verification process. They are our payment gateway who processes all credit card transactions. They then in turn fwd the $ to our account. By agreeing to the terms you agree that you understand this.
• All items that are considered as oversized will incur additional shipping costs, which will not be reflected at the time of checkout.
• Some of our products are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer or one of our distributors. This allows us to offer many more products in various sizes, styles, etc. than we would have room for. It also allows for faster fulfillment and shipping of your orders. With drop shipping, we are able to reduce overhead and pass the savings on to you, our customer, by keeping some of the best prices out there on all the products you want!! Any item not in stock will be followed up with an email. Usually we will give you 7 days to respond. If no response is given we will refund the $ you paid via paypal or M.O or check
•All orders are a request of product, goods, or services and Payment may be refunded or denied @ the discretion of aquatic-store.com
• In some instances, your order may be shipped from different locations and may not arrive all together, in the event that this occurs, we will provide tracking information via email. Please note that you will only be charged once for shipping, according to the shipping policy above.
• Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped. Refused orders are subject to an automatic 40% - 60% restocking fee plus return shipping charges.
- Any special order item may incur additional fees if you want these shipped @ a different time or if they are directly shipped from the manufacturer
- Customer is responsable for all return shipping of refused items or rma items.
- Free shipping is only givin one way and if the item or items have been returned then the customer will pay for the the original shipping cost out of the partial refund given.
- All free items are limited to stock availability and are the discretion of our store.
- The customer agrees to pay chargebacks or legal fees associated with the customers order or disputes along with agreed to file any leagel matters in our stores local area.
• Product Returns and Price Matching
• Should you find it necessary to return a product to us, please contact us within 30 days of your original invoice date for a Return Authorization Number (RMA) prior to shipping the item back. Shipping and insurance fees are not refundable. Returned products must include all original boxes with original seal and paperwork to receive a refund or replacement. All returns must be properly packaged and insured to avoid damage. Please mark the RMA number clearly on the shipping label and shipping box. Please do not mark on the product box. Refunds cannot be issued for improperly packaged returned items. All RMA's are valid for 10 days. Any items returned without a RMA number will be refused. We are unable to accept for return any product received after the expiration of the RMA. RMA's cannot be extended or re-issued. We reserve the right to refuse any item. The Mandatory Restocking fees will apply for all returns to cover box costs, packing materials, and man hours it takes to pack, inventory, and inspect these items.
To price match the items the request must be made prior to paying for your order. Please call or email us and we will let you know how you can do this online as if you make a payment online many times we cannot refund the difference. We do not back date price matched items from orders. Price matching is @ a benefit not a right and is determined by the store. We will only price match in stock items by authorised dealers.
• Damaged Merchandise
• If your merchandise arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of arrival. All damage claims must be filed with the carrier.. Please do not discard the damaged item or the packing material. The carrier may choose to pick up the damaged item for inspection. In this event, the carrier will contact you within 7 to 10 business days after the claim has been filed.
• Defective Products
• When you purchase any product from us, you are entitled to its manufacturer's warranty against defective merchandise. Several of our major manufacturers' policies prohibit us from accepting returns and require that you contact them directly for assistance. These manufacturers will repair, return or replace them in accordance with their own policies:

If your product is not made by one of the manufacturers mentioned above, the following policy may apply: If your product is not functioning properly, please contact us as soon as possible (but not later than 30 days from invoice date). We will replace the product with an even exchange of the same item, subject to availability and manufacturer warranty. Replacement items if in stock ship within three business days after the defective item is received and inspected. Custom orders may not be returned.
