Red Sea Wavemaster Pro provides constant and changing patterns of circulation are critical to the supply of oxygen and nutrients in your tank. The WaveMaster Pro creates randomly flowing, ever changing water currents indistinguishable from the natural environment. These currents are produced for a few minutes at a time. The WaveMaster Pro is designed to handle up to 4 powerheads simultaneously, or the fourth outlet may be designated for the main pump. There are four preset options for marine tanks and four programmed for reef tanks, changing from a light wave action to an intense current. The fourth program button randomly switches between all wave settings to provide a constantly changing pattern. The unit includes a built in “smart “ feed switch which allows for the difference in the types of tanks operated. In a reef setting, the feed switch will turn the main pump off (if the fourth outlet is so designated) for 15 minutes to allow invertebrates time to feed before filtering out the liquid food. One powerhead will keep running to provide some movement in the tank so the food is properly dispersed. In the marine setting, the feed switch will not turn off the main pump outlet but will turn off all powerheads (for 15 minutes) so the water will calm for he fish to feed. WaveMaster Pro also includes a nighttime switch which will reduce the set current by 50% for 8 hours.
